Accent Management:

An accent is a normal consequence of learning a second language later in life.  However, General American English may be the language of choice in certain professional, academic and social circles in the United States.  If an accent is making it difficult to be understood at work or during social activities, accent management training may be beneficial. Individualized training plans may include a focus on articulation, intonation, rate, stress, rhythm of speech and loudness.  Cynthia is certified in the Compton - Pronouncing English as a Second Language program.
